    Blend of grapes

    65% Marzemino – 25% Groppello – 10% Merlot

    Vineyard

    The training system is the simple bow type. The planting density is 4.000 vines per hectare and the production is around 3kg per plant. The soil is of morainic origin, mainly clay, and is located South of lake Garda. The rows are North-South oriented. Harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification

    The must is obtained with a short maceration and successive soft pressing of the whole bunch of grapes. It then ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts.

    Refinement

    The wine stays “sur lies” for 6 months, until the moment of “tirage”. Refermentation occurs through the Martinotti (charmat) method and, after 2 months in the autoclave, it is then bottled and sold after at least 3 months of refinement in the bottle.

    Organoleptic notes

    Cherry pink color with violet tones. It has a pleasant perlage and the bouquet presents delicate flower scents. Fresh, full and enveloping flavor, with suffused notes of cherry and red currant.

    Combinations

    Wine particularly suitable for aperitifs and appetizers, it can also be consumed throughout the meal. Freshness, sapidity and versatility distinguish it. Serve at 8-10 °

    Vineyard

    The breeding system is by simple bow. Planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and production is about 3 kg. per plant. The terrain is of moraine type located south of Lake Garda, with the rows facing north-south. Harvesting is by hand.

    Vinification

    Freshly harvested grapes are pressed directly. Pressing is done in a soft manner, so that only the richest and most valuable part of the must can be obtained, the so-called must flower. It is fermented at a controlled temperature for the duration of the process, which is about 7 to 10 days.

    Refinement

    The claret is kept in contact with the fine lees through batonnage for about 4 months. After bottling, it is left to refine for about a month in the bottle before being marketed

    Organoleptic notes

    A bright pink wine with hints of purplish highlights. On the nose there are scents of rose petal and lavender. In the mouth it is pleasantlynte delicate with a pronounced savoriness typically conferred by the moraine soils located near Lake Garda. It is fruity with notes of pink grapefruit, black cherry and red currant.

    Pairings

    An easy-drinking wine that goes well with a variety of fish and vegetable dishes, excellent as an aperitif and also with pizza.
