    Blend of grapes

    Pure TURBIANA

    Vineyard

    The training system is the simple bow type.

    Vinification

    The must, obtained with slow, gradual pressing of the
    whole grapes, ferments at a controlled temperature in
    stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts.

    Refinement

    LUGANA is kept with its own yeasts for around 4 months until the time of blending and is put on the market after around 1 month of refinement in the bottle.

    Organoleptic notes

    Straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. To the nose, the wine mainly expresses fruity and floral notes, with marked evidence of hints of pear and peach and some precious spices like saffron. On the palate, it expresses a richness of taste, due to the accentuated sapidity and good structure that goes well with the acid vein that characterises this product, a harmonic and enjoyable wine suitable for many combinations.

    Combinations

    Perfect with starters, boiled or grilled fish, white meats. Also enjoyable with fresh cheeses.

    The training system is the simple bow type. The planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and the production is around 3 kg per plant. The morainic soil lies south of Lake Garda, where the rows enjoy a north-south exposure. The harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification and refinement

    The must, obtained with slow, gradual pressing of the whole grapes, ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. It is kept for 1 year to age on the fine lees until its reaches the utmost expression of quality. It is then bottled and kept for another 6 months in storage before being marketed.

    Organoleptic notes

    Intense straw-yellow colour, hints of exotic fruit, honey and saffron emerge to the nose. On the palate, it is a soft, elegant and complex wine with good minerality, which comes through during its time in the bottle.

    Combinations

    It goes well with elaborate first courses, with saltwater fish, both grilled and steamed, with matured cheeses and white meats.

    The training system is Guyot. The planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and the production is around 2.5 kg per plant. The morainic soil lies south of Lake Garda, where the rows enjoy a north-south exposure. The harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification and refinement

    Fermentation takes place in steel tanks where it remains for the duration of the maceration of at least 10 days. After racking, it is kept in tanks in order to complete the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. At the end of the processes, it is refined for around 6 months before being bottled and put on the market.

    Organoleptic notes

    Intense red colour. To the nose, it recalls the aromas of red-berry fruit. On the palate, it is soft and velvety while the full body confirms its good structure.

    Combinations

    It is a pleasing accompaniment to grilled meat, cold cuts, first courses with ragù.

    The training system is Guyot. The planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and the production is around 2.5 kg per plant. The morainic soil lies south of Lake Garda, where the rows enjoy a north-south exposure. The harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification and refinement

    After remaining in small crates for 30/40 days in a ventilated room, pressing is carried out followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks where it remains for the duration of the maceration, which is usually no less than 10 days. After racking, it is kept in tanks in order to complete the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. At the end of the processes, it is aged for a minimum of 12 months in tanks, once bottled it is put on the market after an additional refinement of 6 months.

    Organoleptic notes

    Intense red colour, with fine and elegant aromas, notes of ripe fruit ranging from cherry to plum. On the palate, it is full-bodied and pleasantly balanced. A wine of remarkable structure that is suited to long refinement in the bottle and best expresses its characteristics 3 years after bottling.

    Combinations

    Perfect with red meats in general, it goes well with game and matured cheeses. It is also suitable as a wine for meditation and can therefore be considered an excellent wine for the end of a meal.

    CABERNET SAUVIGNON

    The training system is Guyot. The planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and the production is around 2.5 kg per plant. The morainic soil lies south of Lake Garda, where the rows enjoy a north-south exposure. The harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification and Refinement

    Organoleptic notes

    Garnet red colour with purplish-blue highlights. The wine expresses itself to the nose mainly though fruity and spicy notes, with marked hints of dried fruit; on the palate, it has a wealth of taste due to an accentuated tannic note from the gentle, soft tannins from the refinement, an excellent structure that is well-suited to refinement in the bottle and is best expressed 2 years after bottling.

  • Brut Rosé

    Blend of grapes

    65% Marzemino – 25% Groppello – 10% Merlot

    Vineyard

    The training system is the simple bow type. The planting density is 4.000 vines per hectare and the production is around 3kg per plant. The soil is of morainic origin, mainly clay, and is located South of lake Garda. The rows are North-South oriented. Harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification

    The must is obtained with a short maceration and successive soft pressing of the whole bunch of grapes. It then ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts.

    Refinement

    The wine stays “sur lies” for 6 months, until the moment of “tirage”. Refermentation occurs through the Martinotti (charmat) method and, after 2 months in the autoclave, it is then bottled and sold after at least 3 months of refinement in the bottle.

    Organoleptic notes

    Cherry pink color with violet tones. It has a pleasant perlage and the bouquet presents delicate flower scents. Fresh, full and enveloping flavor, with suffused notes of cherry and red currant.

    Combinations

    Wine particularly suitable for aperitifs and appetizers, it can also be consumed throughout the meal. Freshness, sapidity and versatility distinguish it. Serve at 8-10 °

    Vineyard

    The breeding system is by simple bow. Planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and production is about 3 kg. per plant. The terrain is of moraine type located south of Lake Garda, with the rows facing north-south. Harvesting is by hand.

    Vinification

    Freshly harvested grapes are pressed directly. Pressing is done in a soft manner, so that only the richest and most valuable part of the must can be obtained, the so-called must flower. It is fermented at a controlled temperature for the duration of the process, which is about 7 to 10 days.

    Refinement

    The claret is kept in contact with the fine lees through batonnage for about 4 months. After bottling, it is left to refine for about a month in the bottle before being marketed

    Organoleptic notes

    A bright pink wine with hints of purplish highlights. On the nose there are scents of rose petal and lavender. In the mouth it is pleasantlynte delicate with a pronounced savoriness typically conferred by the moraine soils located near Lake Garda. It is fruity with notes of pink grapefruit, black cherry and red currant.

    Pairings

    An easy-drinking wine that goes well with a variety of fish and vegetable dishes, excellent as an aperitif and also with pizza.

    The training system is Guyot. The planting density is 4,000 vines per hectare and the production is around 3 kg per plant. The morainic soil lies south of Lake Garda, where the rows enjoy a north-south exposure. The harvest is done by hand.

    Vinification

    The must, obtained with the slow, gradual pressing of the whole grapes, ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts.

    Refinement

    It is kept with its yeasts for around 3 months until the time for the Martinotti (Charmat) system tirage. After 2 months in autoclave for the second fermentation, it is bottled and marketed after around 3 months’ refinement in the bottle

    Organoleptic notes

    Straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. To the nose, the wine mainly expresses fruity and floral notes and crusty bread; it maintains its fine, fresh sensation due to the bubbles, but these are not intrusive.
